Questions? Answers!

Q: What if I live in an apartment?
A: Be safe, use battery operated candles for your luminaries and decorate your porch or balcony!

Q: What if I don’t have a sidewalk or walkway?
A: That’s okay, put your luminaries out at a safe distance from your street/road but please follow your local laws and regulations!

Q: Why not start at the same time for everyone?
A: Given the 5 hour difference between the East coast and Hawaii this would be difficult. I opted for a rolling start for everyone so we could all enjoy it.

Q: What if I don’t have supplies?
A: Ask a neighbor or friend if they can drop some off, just have them sanitize and do an outside drop for you. Remember your basics for social distancing!

Q: How do I invite someone who isn’t on Facebook?
A: I will be adding a flyer to this page for those who want to send them in email, text, or print them and distribute them. Again, use your discretion to prevent the spread of this virus!

Q: What’s in it for you?
A: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I’m not asking for donations or anything. I simply want to bring us together through light and unity for one night.

Q: Why are you doing this?
A: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ … haha, in all seriousness, it was just an idea that came to mind one night and I posted in our community page. It went viral (pun intended) from there!

Q: How can I get involved to help?
A: 1.) Share. Share! SHARE! The more we get involved the better! Use #UniteTheNight when sharing or posting about it! 2.) If you’re interested in doing more than just sharing, please feel free to leave a message through the Facebook event or contact page on this site, I’ll try and respond as soon as possible!
